Buyside & Sellside Tender Overview
Our renewable energy platform currently aggregates a total volume of max. 327 GWh p.a. electricity demand and approx. 1 TWh p.a. electricity supply, across several European markets.
The listed electricity buyers are institutional end-consumers who are looking for closing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). The structure of the preferred PPAs differs from buyer to buyer. Therefore, the buyers are looking for Virtual PPAs as well as Physical PPAs. Moreover, the tenor varies from 2 years up to 10 years. Most of the buyers are open to close an As Produced PPA but would prefer a Fixed Volume or Baseload PPA.
The electricity sellers are project developers or independent power producers (IPPs) who are looking for PPA counterparties. They are mainly interested in As Produced PPAs with tenors between 2 to 15 years for renewable energy assets which are already operational. In addition, you find renewable energy assets which are currently in the development stage and which require long-term PPAs with tenors of more than 10 years. The projects are located in Germany, Sweden, Romania and Albania.
If you are not familiar with the difference between Virtual and Physical PPAs or the different PPA volume mechanisms, please check out the Supplementary Box below.
Below you will find an overview of the outstanding Request for Proposals as of 12/01/2023. Note that the real number of RfPs may differ from the reported status below since the number of companies looking for PPAs varies on a daily basis. Therefore, please check out our PPA platform by logging in here.
